きらきら、もふもふ、ふかふか、つるつる、ぴかぴか、ふわふわ……。日本語は、 “オノマトペ”の表現が豊かな言語と言われています。「ototoito」（=音と糸）は言葉から伝わる質感に焦点をあてた世界ではじめての刺繍糸ブランド。手触りまで楽しく、だれでも特別な刺繍作品を作ることができるキットを通じて、新しい刺繍の世界を提案します。 atsumiデザインによるオリジナルの図案、指示書はじめ、刺繍に必要な道具がキットになっているので、慣れない方でも気軽に始められます。 oto-to-ito is a series of embroidery threads with onomatopeoic names: Mofumofu (fluffy), Fukafuka (soft) and Kirakira (sparkling). The textures are inspired by those onomatopoeic names. The Japanese language is rich with onomatopoeic expressions. Through our embroidery kits that make it possible for anyone to create special embroidery pieces that are also fun to touch, we propose a new world of embroidery. Our first series includes three types of threads‒ Kirakira, Mofumofu, and Fukafuka. Our kits include original fabric printed with designs by embroidery artist atsumi, embroidery instructions and the tools necessary for the embroidery process. Because all this comes with the kit, it not only makes a great gift, but is perfect for both novices and experts alike. We also sell just the threads themselves so that even those who do not embroider can enjoy the threads for wrapping and darning. In order for everyone to use these high-grade threads made with quality Japanese technologies at their best possible state, we also developed a special threader and needle. Through these products, we hope to introduce quality threads that stimulate the creative passions of those who not only want to embroider but also create freely in their very own, unique ways.
